Photo results of the year 2023 I am summing up the photo results of the year 2023.
For almost a dozen previous years, my main travels were related to photographic projects about different countries, which resulted in exhibitions and books. However, given that there is no point in making friends with other countries at the moment, I decided to dedicate 2023 to getting to know places I have never been before. During the year I managed to visit 13 countries. All trips, with the exception of South Korea, were individual and covered attractions that I found interesting. No specific goals were set. Of course, I had a camera with me everywhere to record my impressions. Over the course of a year, I published stories on social networks that seemed interesting to me. But, to be honest, I haven’t even been able to carefully look at all the photographs taken yet. Perhaps I’ll find time to talk about something else. Visited the following countries: Bangladesh, Iran, Oman, Bahrain, Japan, South Korea, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Cuba, Pakistan. If someone doesn’t like the number 13, then there was another 14th - “our” Belarus. All these countries are different in terms of living standards, mentality and accessibility to visit. I can say that my ideas about life have changed a little. Many of these countries have had, or continue to have, a significant impact on global development. For myself, I have compiled a general picture of them, but, of course, I do not pretend to have complete knowledge of all aspects. I have previously visited many other “important” countries in Europe and America, and in total my list currently consists of 76 countries.
It is difficult to predict what will happen in the world and around our country in the future, while positive changes are not visible, so we will have to continue to travel and study the planet. In principle, this is a good activity, although useless for the country.
Here I publish some selections of photographs that, in my opinion, best convey the atmosphere of the countries visited this year, even without captions.
But almost every photo can tell a separate story. There are separate albums on social networks for all countries. Maybe I’ll add a photo to the site later.
