Laos, The Bokeo Province

Two men are busy making homemade pasta – squeezing the dough out of a bag with a hole cut in the bottom, so that it lands in the boiling water in the pan below. 

It’s pulled out into long pasta shapes and cooled in a pot of cold water. The woman takes the prepared pasta and puts it in the container, whose bottom is lined with leaves.
